The art proposal for this music video, consisted on the development of an artifact inspired by the debris of the place it was filmed, with the purpose of creating a bond between the band and the set. The musicians stood on top of the ruins of a gold mine which is located in an old torture site from the Chilean dictatorship.
The totem-like artifact that had two water jets that when attached to an oscillator vibrating at 24 hz and recorded with a camera at the same rate, 24 fps, the water flow syncs with the video. On the camera, the water flow appears to stand still. At 23 hz the water goes backwards and on 25 hz it feels like a slow motion flow.
This effect was inspired in this youtube video by brusspup.
